Epithalon

Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly), an analog of the pineal peptide epithalamin. In-vitro and preclinical research literature describes upregulation of telomerase (hTERT) transcription and associated telomere elongation in somatic cell culture. Preclinical studies also report modulation of pineal melatonin synthesis and circadian gene expression. Reported activity is characterized at the molecular and cellular level.
