IGF-1 LR3 (Long R3 IGF-1) is an insulin-like growth factor-1 analog carrying a 13-residue N-terminal extension and an Arg-for-Glu substitution at position 3, modifications that reduce affinity for IGF-binding proteins and extend its circulating half-life to roughly 20-30 hours.
