KPV

KPV is the tripeptide lysyl-prolyl-valine corresponding to the C-terminal region of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. Preclinical and in-vitro studies describe it as a modulator of pro-inflammatory signaling, attenuating NF-kB activation and downstream cytokine transcription. Research literature has examined the peptide in rodent models of intestinal inflammation and in cultured epithelial and immune cell systems.
