LL-37

LL-37 is a 37-amino-acid cationic, amphipathic alpha-helical peptide derived from the C-terminus of human cathelicidin hCAP18. Research literature describes membrane-permeabilizing, broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity alongside immunomodulatory signaling through formyl peptide receptor 2. In-vitro studies associate the peptide with macrophage and keratinocyte activation, chemotaxis, and angiogenic responses in cultured systems.
