Thymalin

A complex of polypeptide fractions extracted from thymus tissue. In-vitro and preclinical research literature characterizes its modulation of T-lymphocyte differentiation and maturation, its influence on the ratio of helper and suppressor T-cell subpopulations, and its regulation of cytokine signaling. Preclinical studies examine restoration of immune-cell balance in animal models of immunosenescence and thymic involution.
