Overview
KLOW is a co-packaged research set that groups four peptides supplied together: the copper tripeptide GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine complexed with copper(II)), the synthetic pentadecapeptide BPC-157, TB-500 (a synthetic fragment reproducing the actin-binding region of thymosin beta-4), and the tripeptide KPV (lysine-proline-valine, the C-terminal fragment of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone). It extends the three-peptide GLOW set with KPV, adding a melanocortin-derived anti-inflammatory reference compound. Each is produced synthetically for laboratory research use and characterized individually in the literature.

The research literature attributes distinct, complementary activities to each component. GHK-Cu is characterized as a copper-transporting ligand modulating collagen- and matrix-gene expression and metalloproteinase activity in fibroblast culture. BPC-157 is described through the VEGFR2–Akt–eNOS axis associated with endothelial proliferation and angiogenesis. TB-500 is characterized as a sequestering agent for monomeric G-actin governing cytoskeletal assembly and cell migration. KPV is described as attenuating NF-κB and pro-inflammatory-cytokine signaling downstream of melanocortin biology. Handling & storage
Each component is supplied lyophilized and is reconstituted separately in the laboratory, typically with bacteriostatic water, to the working concentration required for its assay. Add diluent slowly down the vial wall and swirl gently to dissolve rather than vortexing; do not combine components until the protocol requires it. Aliquot each reconstituted peptide to minimize freeze–thaw exposure.
Store the sealed lyophilized vials at −20 °C protected from light, where they are stable long-term. Reconstituted material should be refrigerated at 2–8 °C and protected from repeated freeze–thaw.
